The Southern Eye Congress is a collaborative society of eye care providers from the Southeast that fosters communication between leading eye surgeons, technicians and industry.
For over a decade the previously named "Southeast Regional Eye Meeting" was held as the annual conference for the Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana and Tennessee state ophthalmology societies. With a goal of more collaboration with colleagues from across the South and throughout the United States, this meeting has been modernized and rebranded in 2018 as the Southern Eye Congress. The SEC will offer ophthalmologists, technicians, and administrators an opportunity to learn what’s new in their respective professions, while at the same time interacting with many of the country’s top ophthalmic commercial companies.
